Course Memo

As a continuation of RAD 100 and building upon the foundation of knowledge gained in BIO 111 and BIO 112, this course incorporates the application of anatomy and physiology essential to the practice of radiologic technology. Standard and selected additional radiographic procedures of the femur, hip/pelvic girdle, vertebral column, anterior neck, bony thorax, and specialty chest and abdomen radiography will be studied. In addition, select radiographic procedures of the lower gastrointestinal systems will be covered. Image evaluation and critique of these procedures will be discussed. Demonstrations and clinical testing will be conducted in the positioning lab.
