Concepts of Practical Nursing (LPN 110)

This course provides a broad overview of the fundamentals of nursing which includes education and training about nursing concepts, communication, nursing process, legal, ethical, and professional responsibilities related to clinical practice, wellness/illness concepts, health promotion and wellness across the lifespan and identifying client needs. Students learn methods for promoting the dignity, integrity, self-determination, and personal growth of diverse patients and their families providing individualized, culturally appropriate, relationship-centered nursing care.
